If you’ve read this far, you should have a fairly good grasp of what Portal is, how it looks, and how useful it could be. Now for the rest of the story. The Portal window is semi-transparent, with a slight bluish tint by default, but this tint color can be changed to match your desktop picture. Portal comes with a Dashboard widget that look identical to the actual application window, but there will also be a Ground Control module (provided both ideas survive long enough). And did you notice that Portal is going to have a “Pro” mode?
